I picked up LD from West and we went grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s and ACME together today. I found out some fun facts about him:
- He aspires to be an architect. In fact, he is going to have an architecture course this summer at a different institution
- His parents are civil engineers and architects. One of them is talented at drawing and LD wants to be like them
- He loves plants and flowers. He has big pots at his dorm. He knows how to take care of them and he is quite worried about storing them over the summer.
- He usually eats savory food in the morning. His go-to dish is microwaved sausage and egg. So when we went to ACME, he immediately took the 4 trays of sausage + shrimp for $20 deal. I paid for 1 tray and he paid for the rest
- He was worrying about housing next year, because his roommates, very mean, wanted to turn to singles without giving him heads up. Also, he felt like he might not be able to get another group of people to tolerate him like them. I suggested he sign up for a single in an apartment, but he didn’t like that idea very much, so I just wished him the best of luck. Hopefully, he’ll be able to figure things out!
